James L. Casady, MPT
James received his undergraduate degrees at the University
of Colorado in Kinesiology and Psychology. After receiving
his Master’s degree in physical therapy at Nova Southeastern
University, he began practicing in Boston. Since receiving
his degree, James has had the opportunity to work with the
Boston Ballet, professional triathletes and cyclists from
around the world, two women’s professional football
teams, and high school and college athletes participating
in a wide variety of sports. |

Maura F. White, MPT
Maura graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelors of Science in Education and with a minor in Athletic Training. She received her
Masters in Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University. Maura has worked as
an Athletic Trainer at the high school level and as a physical therapist
in a variety of settings. Maura also has experience working with the
pediatric population in the public schools and is a certified Pilates
instructor. Maura enjoys working with all patient populations. |

Stephanie Hatherley, MSPT
Stephanie is the newest member of the Ashland Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine
team but comes to us with eleven years of orthopedic and sports medicine experience.
She received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology at Lafayette College followed by
her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy at the University Of Miami School of
Medicine in 1999. Since then she has worked at a variety of private orthopedic
physical therapy clinics in the Boston area, with an emphasis on sports medicine and
spinal rehabilitation. She has participated in many continuing education programs
including the McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment and Mulligan methods for
treating disorders of the spine. As a Division I college athlete herself, Stephanie
understands the desire to return to sports and exercise and strives to get patients
back to the level of play they desire as quickly as possible. When she is not
working part-time at Ashland PT & Sports Medicine, she enjoys being home with her
husband and her two young sons in Hopkinton.

Janet Gamache PT, CSCS, CMT
Janet received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut in 1988. While at UConn she gained sports medicine experience from working in the training room and serving as a student trainer for the women's basketball team.
In 1998 she became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Wanting to further enhance her hands on skills, Janet attended the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy, earning her Massage Therapy certificate in 2001. Janet is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Her extensive physical therapy experience includes work at various private practices in NH, San Diego, Westborough and Hopkinton MA. Janet has served as an ergonomics consultant for EMC and National Grid, and has taught spine care to hundreds of employees. Janet has always been an active participant in continuing education seminars and classes, covering topics such as foot biomechanics, myofascial release, strength and conditioning, nutrition, ACL prevention and ergonomics.
